1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using MotorPartsFinder, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. MotorPartsFinder operates as an automated parts-matching service that scans third-party marketplaces across multiple countries to locate motor vehicle parts based on user-defined search criteria. These terms govern your use of our website, mobile applications, APIs, and all related services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Service Description
MotorPartsFinder provides an AI-powered parts-scanning service that monitors over 100 online marketplaces across 12 countries to identify motor vehicle parts matching your specified criteria, including part type, vehicle compatibility, and target price range. We act solely as an information aggregator and do not sell, purchase, or broker the sale of any parts. All transactions are conducted directly between you and the third-party seller on their respective platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, condition, or authenticity of any listed parts, nor do we verify seller credentials or marketplace listing accuracy.
3. User Accounts and Subscriptions
To access our scanning services, you must create an account and subscribe to one of our available plans. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are solely responsible for all activity under your account. Subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 14-day free trial on select plans, which may be subject to additional terms. Sharing account credentials or reselling access to our service is strictly prohibited.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use MotorPartsFinder only for its intended purpose of locating motor vehicle parts. You shall not use the service to scrape, harvest, or collect data for competing services, nor shall you attempt to reverse-engineer our scanning algorithms, AI models, or matching logic. Automated access to our platform via bots, crawlers, or similar tools is prohibited unless expressly authorised. You may not use the service to facilitate fraudulent transactions, money laundering, or any illegal activity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, software, algorithms, designs, trademarks, and other intellectual property associated with MotorPartsFinder are owned by or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for personal or business use in accordance with your subscription plan. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform or its content. User-submitted search criteria and preferences remain your property, but you grant us a licence to process this data as necessary to provide the service.
6. Limitation of Liability
MotorPartsFinder is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you in subscription fees during the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Third-Party Services
MotorPartsFinder integrates with and scans third-party marketplaces, payment processors, and other external services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, practices, or availability of these third-party services. Your interactions with sellers found through our platform are governed by the respective marketplace's terms and conditions. We do not endorse or guarantee any third-party sellers, products, or services. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and your use of payment services is subject to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of MotorPartsFinder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt resolution through our customer support process. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MotorPartsFinder regarding the use of the service.
