Accessibility Statement

1. Our Commitment
MotorPartsFinder is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, which defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. We believe that every person should be able to search for and find motor parts regardless of ability.
2. Accessibility Features
MotorPartsFinder incorporates a range of accessibility features designed to accommodate users with diverse needs. Our platform supports keyboard navigation throughout all interactive elements, including search forms, result tables, and account management. We provide alternative text for all meaningful images and icons. Our colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG AA standards for text and interactive elements. Form fields include descriptive labels and error messages that are programmatically associated with their respective inputs. We use semantic HTML elements to ensure proper document structure and support for assistive technologies such as screen readers.
3. Assistive Technology Support
Our platform is designed to work with a variety of assistive technologies, including screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, screen magnification tools, speech recognition software, and alternative input devices. We use ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes where appropriate to enhance the experience for assistive technology users, particularly in dynamic content areas such as search results, notification feeds, and interactive data tables. We regularly test our platform with popular assistive technologies to identify and resolve compatibility issues. If you encounter any difficulties using MotorPartsFinder with your assistive technology, please contact us.
4. Content Accessibility
We strive to present all content in a clear, readable format. Body text uses a minimum size of 16 pixels with adequate line spacing for readability. Headings follow a logical hierarchy to facilitate navigation and comprehension. Links are distinguished from surrounding text through colour and underline styling, and are descriptive in their purpose. Data tables used in search results and account dashboards include proper headers and scope attributes for screen reader interpretation. We avoid conveying information through colour alone and provide text alternatives for all colour-coded status indicators such as scanning, active, and found badges.
5. Multilingual Accessibility
MotorPartsFinder supports 12 languages across European and Asian markets, and we are committed to maintaining accessibility standards across all language versions. Each language version includes properly declared language attributes in the HTML markup, enabling screen readers and other assistive technologies to correctly interpret and pronounce content. Right-to-left text support is available where needed. Our translation process considers accessibility requirements, ensuring that alternative text, form labels, error messages, and ARIA labels are translated accurately and contextually. Language selection is accessible via keyboard and screen reader from the site header.
6. Known Limitations
While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, we acknowledge certain limitations in our current implementation. Some third-party content embedded from external marketplaces may not meet our accessibility standards, as we do not control the accessibility of third-party seller listings or marketplace interfaces. Complex data visualisations in analytics dashboards may have limited accessibility for screen reader users, and we are working to provide accessible alternatives. Certain PDF documents or downloadable content may not be fully accessible. We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome feedback on areas where we can improve.
7. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of MotorPartsFinder. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, have suggestions for improvement, or need content in an alternative format, please contact us at hello@motorpartsfinder.com. When reporting an accessibility issue, please include a description of the problem, the page or feature where you encountered it, the assistive technology you were using (if applicable), and your preferred method of contact. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve confirmed issues within 30 days where feasible. Your feedback helps us continuously improve our platform for all users.
8. Compliance and Standards
MotorPartsFinder is designed to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) applicable from June 2025, the UK Equality Act 2010 regarding web accessibility, and relevant national accessibility legislation in the markets we serve. We conduct regular accessibility audits using both automated tools and manual testing with assistive technologies. Our development team receives ongoing accessibility training to ensure new features and updates maintain compliance. We publish this accessibility statement in accordance with regulatory requirements and update it annually or when significant changes are made to the platform.
